My 200th Blog Entry - Feedback Please

Well, it seems as though I'm up to my 200th blog entry.

Perhaps that's not many in nearly 3 years, but it feels like it to me. You may have noticed that I'm not exactly a 'daily blogger' kind of guy as life tends to get in the way and I really only want to post something when I feel as though it's somewhat interesting.

So, what I'd like to do is take a moment to pause and ask any of you regular readers out there (all 2 or 3 of you) to let me know what you think of the blog.

What do you like?
What don't you like?
What are you favourite features?
What could you live without?

Keep in mind, I am very low tech, so if you want a much splashier page with crazy graphics, that just ain't going to happen. It took me years (and some help from Mr. Keller) to figure out how to put things into categories.

So, be honest (but a bit gentle, too) as I'd love to hear what you folks think.

Congratulations on your 200th lap around the track, and thanks for sticking with it, Scott.

I wish I sounded less like a suck-up when I say I enjoy all the stuff you post, but there it is. The methodology behind what you're sharing is well thought out, which is a skill I'm still working on (unless random observations qualify as a method), so keep it up, and I'll keep reading.

I am partial to the comics posts which personally do more for me than Music and Cheap Grapes. My favorite features are Charlton Notebook, Bronze Age Baby, Reprint This, and Theme Covers.

Some of the movie reviews are helpful, like Ironman, 3:10 to Yuma, and the Strange Door. I would not mind seeing more reviews of old movies and I appreciate finding a fellow western fan. I bought Marvel Western: The Two-Gun Kid at your recommendation and I was not disappointed. Would love to see more western related stuff.

Love your blog. Keep it coming.

Thanks for the comments guys - very much appreciated. I started adding more non-comics stuff because I wanted to really expand the scope of my writing. Hopefully you'll be able to find something useful in there at some point. Those aspects will likely continue to be sporadic at best.

A request for more westen stuff is very easy to accomodate!

I'm a regular reader. I check about 6-7 comics-related blogs at least once a week and yours makes the list. I like all your comics features, especially the Ditko covers as a lot of them I've never seen before. You might comment a little more often on the newer stuff your read.

I'm not much into wine but I appreciate that some people might find the wine info useful. I wonder what oenophiles who stumble on this site think about all the comics talk?
